01 / Business positioning

Before the colours.
Before the mark.
A clear direction.

Who are you speaking to? What should they understand? What makes your offer worth choosing?

We start with your business, audience and priorities. That conversation shapes the identity brief and gives visual decisions a purpose.

Audience
The people you need to reach.
Positioning
The place you want to hold in their minds.
Character
The impression your identity should convey.

02 / Identity & visual system

Recognisable in the detail.
Consistent as a whole.

A mark, a palette and a typographic voice work together. We develop the agreed direction into a system that can be applied beyond a single logo.

The study below uses NEST8’s own identity to demonstrate how a visual system fits together. It is not a client case study.

A system your team can use.

We confirm the asset list, editable formats, usage guidance and handover requirements before work starts. Print production and third-party licences are identified separately where needed.

How we work together

Explore with purpose.
Refine with clarity.

For a new business or an existing identity ready for a refresh, the work follows an agreed brief and review process.

  1. 01

    Define

Clarify your audience, priorities, existing assets and required applications.

  2. 02

    Explore

Review visual directions against the brief and choose the direction to develop.

  3. 03

    Refine

Resolve the identity details and apply the selected system to the agreed touchpoints.

  4. 04

    Equip

Prepare agreed files and guidance, with handover responsibilities made clear.

Before we begin

A clearer brief.
A better starting point.

Is branding the same as logo design?

A logo is one part of an identity. Branding can also address audience, positioning, visual direction and how that identity is applied. We agree which parts your business needs before defining the scope.

Can you refresh our existing identity?

We can assess what to retain and what needs to change. Share your current assets, usage guidance and business priorities so the scope can distinguish a focused refresh from a wider identity project.

What will we receive?

The proposal confirms the number of concepts and revision rounds, deliverables, file formats, brand-guideline scope and applications. Logo files, colour and typography guidance, templates or stationery are included only where agreed.

How much does branding cost, and how long does it take?

Scope, required applications, content readiness and review rounds determine the quotation and schedule. These are agreed before work begins; there is no fixed package or turnaround assumed here.

Can the identity work in Arabic and English?

Tell us which languages and audiences the identity needs to serve. We assess typography, layout, translation and review requirements before confirming the scope and responsibilities.

Are printing and third-party licences included?

Production, print quantities, font or stock licences and other third-party costs need to be identified in the quotation. Design preparation does not automatically include printing or unlimited usage rights. Ownership and transfer of agreed design assets, editable files and third-party licence restrictions are confirmed in the agreement.

Can you carry the identity into our website and marketing?

Yes, those needs can be planned together. Website design and campaign assets have their own agreed scope so the same visual direction can be applied consistently.
